Ziet er stoer uit die nieuwe koplampen, alleen jammer dat ze deze 2 jaar geleden niet hadden.
Ze hadden het interieur ook wel wat onderhanden mogen nemen, bijv. chrome versieringen op de knop voor de spiegels, knoppen voor bediening ramen en lichtschakelaar.

Model van het stuurwiel is hetzelfde al het huidige model. Denk dat hier gaat om een stuurwiel met lederen bekleding zoals dit nu verkrijgbaar is als accessoires. Misschien nu als standaard?
Volgens mij zijn er wel nieuwe velgen.

Seat heeft de Exeo voor het nieuwe modeljaar flink herzien. Hij scoort beter op het gebied van CO2-uitstoot en wie goed kijkt, ziet een licht gewijzigde voorkant.
Seat heeft voor het nieuwe modeljaar gesleuteld aan de Exeo. Door de invoering van een start/stop-systeem voor de benzinemotoren en verdere verfijning van de diesels gaan de uitstoten wat omlaag. Voor de dieselversies wordt een vermindering van zeven gram per kilometer opgegeven.
Daarmee komen ze weliswaar bij de 130 gr/km, maar is de vermindering nog niet genoeg voor een twintig procent bijstellingsstatus, die vanaf de zomer van volgend jaar begint bij 114 gr/km voor diesels. Verder wordt er nog een Ecomotive-versie beloofd, maar de specificaties daarvan worden nog niet vrijgegeven maar er wordt gesproken over een uitstoot van ‘minder dan 120 gr/km’.
Met zijn vernieuwde koplampen ziet de Exeo het wat scherper dan voorheen. Ze zijn van het bi-xenon-type en de pijlvormige vormgeving, is meer in lijn met de nieuwste modellen van Seat. From the autumn, Exeo’s distinctive design will be further enhanced and the powerful TDI engines become even more efficient. The new upgrade adds even more appeal to the sporty, comfortable Exeo and the spaciously dynamic Exeo ST. All diesel versions benefit from a decrease in CO2 emissions of around 7 grams per km – resulting in a CO2 figure of 129 grams per kilometre (Exeo ST, 132 g/km), making the Exeo one of the most efficient, low-emission vehicles in its class. Fuel consumption will also drop below the current combined figure of 5,2 l per 100 km (5,3 l on the ST).
And the introduction of these improvements to Exeo’s efficiency are just the first step, with additional improvements to Exeo’s efficiency scheduled to arrive in 2012 thanks to the fitment of SEAT’s Start/Stop engine technology.
The addition of this technology - which stops the engine when the car is stationary, such as when waiting at a red traffic light – will significantly reduce consumption and emissions, with a target figure of sub-120g for CO2. Exeo’s dynamic driving performance will not be compromised despite the reduction in consumption and emissions.
This low level of emissions will make Exeo one of the most efficient cars in its class and will further enhance its competitive appeal, particularly for fleets where emissions are a key purchasing factor.
The many strengths of the SEAT Exeo include its clear design language. With the redesigned front end, both the saloon and the estate are now even more expressive. The new, optional bi-xenon headlamps adopt the “arrow” theme that is so characteristic of SEAT design. The integrated daytime running lights in energy saving LED technology are sculpted into sharply defined, angular “wings”, giving the Exeo a precise and dynamic look.

Goede veranderingen. Vooral de dagrijverlichting. Van de week een dag een Exeo mee gehad. Grootse misser in het interieur vind ik het stuur. Te goedkoop voor deze klasse. Douw dan het stuur van de huidige Leon erin.

Vind het stuur op zich best lekker in de hand liggen.
Een iets luxere afwerking had natuurlijk wel gekend, en vandaar ook het nieuwe stuurwiel denk ik.
Optioneel zijn wel stuurwielen met leren bekleding te krijgen en bijpassende schakelpook en handremgreep:

Inderdaad, mijn inmiddels nog oudere ex Toledo 20V signo had dit ook al... :OMijn 8 jaar oude leon ook.

Waarschijnlijk kan je deze gewoon plaatsen, mits je al xenon hebt. Aansluiten zal wel geen probleem opleveren. Er zal wel, net als voor de LED-achterlichten, iets in de software aangepast moeten worden. Denk dat er wel een aardig prijskaartje aan die lampen hangt.
Vraag me af waarom ze de knipperlamp niet met LEDs hebben uitgevoerd.

Mijn dealer (belgi?) heeft laten weten dat de exeo facelift vanaf vrijdag ( 30/09/2011 ) besteld kan worden. Dus dan zal het nog 4 tot 8 weken ongeduldig afwachten worden vooraleer mijn 'exeo-tijdperk' van start kan gaan.
