More info about Siata:
Siata Espa?ola, S.A. was the Spanish subsidiary of the Italian Siata, created in Barcelona and with factory in Tarragona. Between the years 1960 and 1973 he specialized in special bodies, in the conversion of engines and in accessories for cars.
Siata Espa?ola mainly developed special bodies for Seat, most of them own design, and all of them - except the prototype Barcino - based on the Seat 600.
Among its creations the Ampurias, with modified engine until the 750cc (more power, thanks to new pistons) and with a body of three volumes, Turisa with body coupe or spider, or the Tarraco, a four-seater sports car with engines of 750cc or 850cc.
Siata Espa?ola also built the Formichetta and the Minivan delivery van. In 1972 Siata Espa?ola was absorbed by EBRO, which continued to manufacture the minivan van, henceforth called EBRO Siata 40.
